A History of the English-Speaking Peoples consists of 4 volumes titled as follows:-

Vol. 1 : The Birth of Britain

Vol 2 : The New World

Vol 3 : The Age of Revolution

Vol 4 : The Great Democracies

Sir Winston started the work in 1937 but it was only published in 1956-58 due to his commitments in the Second World War and his work on other books. Sir Winston was honoured with the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1953.

This edition was published by the Folio Society in 2003.

Both the four books and the accompanying slipcase are in fine condition, and the books have not been read.
