The recipe is that easy! All you need for these delicious cookies are:

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 ½ cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Once you have all ingredients all you need to do is Sift the flour, baking powder, salt together, and set aside while you cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Then Beat in the eggs and stir in the vanilla.
Gradually blend in the sifted ingredients until fully absorbed and Cover the dough to chill for 2 hours.
Finally, simply Grease cookie sheets, and On a clean floured surface, roll out small portions of chilled dough to cut out shapes using the cookie cutters.

Bake around 15 minutes in preheated oven 180 degrees C, or until edges are barely brown and you have these such soft Christmas cookies!
