🔧 The Perception EXP Backband Kit is a direct replacement padded lumbar support for Perception sit-inside and touring kayaks with bolt-in backband mounts.
If your old backband has lost its shape, the foam has compressed, or the straps have frayed from salt and sun, this kit puts proper lower-back support back into the cockpit so you can paddle for longer without the slouch that wrecks your posture by the second hour.

📋 WHAT’S IN THE KIT
You get the padded backband itself, the adjustment straps, and the fixings needed to bolt it to your existing Perception seat hardware. It’s a like-for-like swap on EXP-series boats, so you’re not re-drilling the hull or fabricating brackets.
The lumbar pad is shaped to push gently into the small of the back, and the side straps let you dial in tension so the band stays put through edged turns and re-entries.
