Very Reluctant Sale – 2-Year-Old Giant Suriname Marine Toad

A very reluctant sale of my 2-year-old Giant Suriname Marine Toad. I was told she is female, although this has not been officially confirmed.

She is an excellent eater and never refuses a meal. Her diet consists of large locusts, large black crickets, giant mealworms, with occasional rat pups and quail offered as treats.

She is an extremely quirky individual with lots of personality and is in excellent health. She is accustomed to being handled. Like typical Marine Toads, she may puff herself up and act tough when she feels threatened, but she is otherwise a real sweetheart.

Important: These toads are toxic, so care must always be taken when handling them. Avoid contact with the glands on the sides of the head and wash your hands thoroughly after handling.

She will grow considerably larger with age. I also have a photo of her father available on request, and he is an absolutely impressive specimen.

Giant Suriname Marine Toads are relatively uncommon in Europe, especially specimens that are already this large, well-established and thriving.

This is a very reluctant sale and she will only be sold to a suitable and experienced keeper.

She will be sold together with her complete established enclosure, as she is very comfortable in her current home and the setup has been arranged around her needs.

The enclosure has an established clean-up crew including woodlice, springtails and other beneficial organisms, making it low-maintenance and ready to continue using.
