Selling a vintage Pioneer SX-339 AM/FM Stereo Receiver from the early 1990s. The unit powers on and plays audio, but it has a specific volume control issue and is being sold strictly AS-IS for parts or repair. The Issue: The left channel continues to play audio at a low, fixed volume even when the volume knob is turned completely down to zero. Likely needs a thorough internal cleaning with DeoxIT contact cleaner, solder reflow on the volume pot ground pins, or a replacement volume potentiometer. The Good: Right channel functions and attenuates normally. Cosmetically in good shape with all original knobs intact. Excellent project piece for an electronics hobbyist or donor unit for vintage audio parts.
