The AV5120 drive units are shielded to ensure that there is no interference if you place it next to your television. A pair of AV5120 loudspeakers can be used as main loudspeakers. The compact design of the AV5120 loudspeaker makes it ideal for use as the main loudspeakers in an AV system where you do not have room for conventional floor-standing loudspeakers. They can be positioned on a bookcase or shelf or fixed directly to the wall using a Linn adjustable BRAKIT. The AV5120 loudspeaker provides separate connections to the treble and midrange/bass crossovers and drivers. You can use separate cables between the power amplifier and each section of the loudspeaker (bi-wiring) or to use a separate power amplifier for each section of the loudspeaker (bi-amping). Using separate cables for each driver improves the subjective performance of the loudspeakers by reducing the coupling between the signals.
