Reception & Reservations Team Member

Job Details

Key responsibilities of a Reception & Reservations Team Member include:
- Standard Front Desk Duties (ie check-in, check-out, guests assistance, etc...)
- Working knowledge of guests reservations, special room package promotions, and cancellation policy according to hotel standards
- Process group reservation rooming lists and select transient reservations into property management system with a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrate proper greeting and telephone etiquette to connect internal/external calls to guests and hotel departments
- Maintain a high level of welfare, security, and safety of the guest information
- Knowledgeable of local area and attractions; provide proper recommendations and directions
- Ensure guests' bills are accurate and follow up/chase travel agencies payment
- Assist the Front Desk Team when necessary 

Qualifications / Experience

- Warm, friendly greeting when speaking with guests over the phone
- Attentively listening and responding to guests inquiries in a positive, polite demeanor
- Proactively resolving guests' questions, requests, and challenges
- Previous hotel experience in front desk or reservations role
- Knowledge of foreign language(s) is an asset
Working hours will be adapted to the business' needs and will require working on some week-ends and public holidays
