Recruitment Specialist

STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is seeking to recruit a Recruitment Specialist within the Human Resources Department. The job holder shall be the main contact with Hiring Managers and with Applicants, ensuring a smooth and professional recruitment process, the selection of the best advertising channels and sources, and the acquisition of the required talent on time.

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Regularly meeting the Managers to discuss their future hiring needs and planning the issuing of Vacancy Requests and Vacancies
Assisting the Managers to prepare proper job descriptions and candidate requirements, to be used by Hiring Manager for the creation of the Vacancy Request
Guiding the Administrator on the most appropriate advertising channels and sources for each Vacancy
Reviewing the Vacancy advert prior to issuing
Participating in or leading interviews at all levels, as agreed upon with Hiring Manager
Preparing job offers in collaboration with the Manager responsible for C&B (Compensation & Benefits)
Guiding the Administrator on the documentation required for work permit applications and monitoring the application process and follow up
Liaising with Identity Malta, as and when necessary, to ensure timely approval of work permit applications and resolution of any issues
Preparing employment contracts in line with offer
Following up candidates until signing of contract
Managing the pipeline of candidates until onboarding (including the preparation of customized induction programme)
Ensuring that the entire Vacancy Process has been performed well
Guiding the Administrator on any IT system updates required and performing updates in the IT systems as deemed necessary
Preparing and delivering presentations related to the allocated scope to update management of hiring status
Assisting superiors in developing and implementing the recruitment strategy and associated communication/advertising plans

Qualifications



The ideal candidate shall:

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a subject related to the role (ex. HR, management, etc.)
Have more than 2 years working experience in a similar role
Have good written and spoken communication skills in English
Be able to use O365 applications, preferably including Power Automate and Power BI
Have a disciplined and professional approach
