Assistant Banqueting Manager

IMPORTANT ** Due to the current work permit and travel restrictions in Malta, only candidates who already have EU citizenship/residence in place will be considered for this position **
Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Manager with the day to day running of our busy Restaurant & Banqueting operations
• Ensure all team members are adequately briefed and trained at all time
• Marketing and selling the conference and banqueting facilities
• Offer a professional level of customer service at all times
• Understand cashing up procedures expertly
• Supervise conferences and banquets ensuring consistency in setup and throughout the execution of the event
Qualifications
Skills:
• Be able to drive standards through leading the team, and implementing training programs and imparting your impeccable food and wine knowledge
• Be financially & commercially aware
• Have strong back of house & organisational skills
• Possess strong leadership skills
Profile:

• Be a ‘people person’ who can communicate with customers with high expectations
Preference will be given to applicants living in Gozo
