Ortis Limited is an importer and distributor of agricultural and gardening supplies.

We are looking to recruit a storekeeper responsible for the stores in our new premises. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the storekeeper’s responsibilities revolve around being responsible for maintaining the stores and stock control system, preparing stock to replenish the shop, and handling preparation of orders for delivery routes.

The storekeeper will be responsible for the:
- Maintenance and general upkeep of stores.
- Receiving new stock arrivals, checking and placing in stores.
- Ensuring all items are stored correctly.
- Preparing stock to replenish the shop as advised by shop manager.
- Handling preparation of orders for delivery and ensuring orders are loaded onto delivery truck in good order.
- Ensuring that the stock control system is up to date and perform stock-take routines as required.


Remuneration is negotiable depending of qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

The storekeeper is expected to:
- be computer literate and able to use stock control software system (with the necessary training).
- possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- be responsible and organized.
- have a good level of spoken and written Maltese and English.
- be hands on and do the physical work required to perform the tasks involved as efficiently as possible.
- preferably licenced to drive a fork lifter or accept to receive training as required.
