Versatech Engineering Limited is seeking to employ a number of experienced Fabricators to work on structures in steel, stainless steel and alloy material.
Part of Bonnici Group, Versatech Engineering Ltd, is a market leader in providing general technical services required for the assembly; repairs and maintenance of mechanical, pipework, hydraulic and electrical systems, and structural works.

Working on a variety of repair jobs and installations, the Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for:
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Performing general mechanical repairs or installations on machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and/or as assigned by supervisor.
• Test and commission mechanical systems.
• Skillfully machine or fabricate any parts required, using industry best practices and standards.
• Reporting work done and requirements for components, materials, and consumables.
• Work in a team with minimum supervision, performing other related tasks that may be required due to business exigencies.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have:
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.
• A tradesperson certification.
• The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• The ability to work at heights.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge in operating general workshop equipment is considered an asset.
