Main Responsibilities include:
• Check in the arriving guest and check out the departing guests in a friendly and caring manner
• Answer all guest requests and questions in a friendly and caring manner, whether by
telephone or in person, provide/receive information and take appropriate actions or refer the
matters to the relevant persons to handle
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in
• Process payments
• Upload and update reservations into the front office system
• Assist the management team with other administrative duties
The ideal candidate must be willing to work day shifts and night shifts.
Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
Applicants looking for part-time employment or a summer placement will also be considered.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
• Have good command of spoken English and Italian
• Preferably has previous experience in a similar post
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and remain calm under pressure
• Be a team player who easily connects with others
• Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
