Duct Installer

Main Duties:

• Read drawings to understand or plan the layout of ducting systems;
• Measure, cut, fabricate, assemble and install pre-fabricated sheet metal / phenolic ducts used
for heating, air conditioning and other purposes including control boxes, drain pipes and others
with attention to existing infrastructure;
• Setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend and straighten different ducting
materials;
• Operate soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts;
• Inspect, assemble and smooth seams and joints of burred surfaces;
• Locate and repair issues in ducting systems.

Qualifications

Requisites:

• Brief understanding of ducting systems, materials and equipment;
• Familiar with tools and equipment;
• Ability to communicate in a team and good interpersonal skills;
• Self-motivated and able to work reliably and effectively under close, but not constant
supervision;
• Experience will be considered as an asset.
