Electronics Technician

Merlin Computers Ltd is one of Malta's longest established IT Companies.
We are looking for an Electronics Technician who will be reporting to the Service Manager while being responsible to carry out technical work as required within the Customer Services Department

Main duties are as follows:

Perform maintenance on any type of IT Equipment
Perform tasks of electrical/electronic, mechanical nature
Diagnose faults - making use of instructions manuals, circuit diagrams and test gear equipment
Particular requirement is the knowledge of maintenance, repair, and support of Uninterruptible Power Supply Units (UPS), printers, scanners and preferably large format Printers.
Preferable have experience in the maintenance and support of laptops

Qualifications

Certified by MCAST (H&D or HTD) or the Technical Institute - MQF Level 4 / 5 qualification
Previous experience in IT is preferred
Must Possess a local driving license
Good level of written and spoken English is mandatory
Good at problem-solving skills
Team player
