Neriku Catering is a well renowned and leading catering company with over 50 years of experience. The company is seeking to recruit a Purchasing Officer.
Responsibilities:
• Researching potential vendors
• Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
• Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Enter order details into internal database
• Review quality of purchased products
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels
• Coordinate with storekeepers to ensure proper storage, stock rotation & other duties
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Past experience as a purchasing officer in the catering industry
• Solid judgement along with decision making skills
• Organized & able to work within a team
• Strong leadership skills
• Negotiating skills
