Handyman / Maintenance

The successful candidate will join our maintenance department. Responsible for all maintenance requests identifying the needs and services of company premises. Must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks regularly
• General Maintenance as required
• Perform repairs, and new installations on electrical devices, carpentry, plumbing, windows, floors, doors.
• Regularly interacted and collaborated with contractors to get the project done in a timely
• Identify and gather the tools needed before commencing a task to complete the job at hand
• Make sure all tools and supplies will put up correctly before leaving the job site so everything can be ready for use the next day.
• Work in conjunction with journeymen, foreman, general foreman in assisting with the Maintenance
• Fix electrical fixtures and manage plumbing problems effectively
• Prepared reports of completed and pending work
• Works hands-on with painting and renovations
• Clean up such as light bulb replacement, appliance removal and replacement, removal, and disposal of furniture.
• Thorough understanding of health and safety guidelines.

Skills

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, math,
• Good communication ability
• English and Maltese is mandatory
• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving

• Teamwork

Qualifications

Experience
Minimum of three years working as a handyman
