Shop Manager

The Shop Manager role is an exciting and challenging position that requires responsibility, good communication and problem solving skills. Applicants should also be ready to be flexible according to work needs.
Selected applicants will report to the Operations manager and will be expected to be responsible for the overall operation of the shop including:-
- Ensuring excellent customer service
- Training and coaching employees
- Conducting staff evaluations
- Ensuring proper product display and rotation
- Rostering
- Placing orders
- Carrying out administrative duties including daily and weekly reporting
- Effecting bank deposits
- Following health and safety procedures
- Meeting required targets
The following skills are also required:-
- Basic computer knowledge
- Leadership skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Hands- on approach
- Previous experience in management will be considered an asset
