ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN


As part of its expansion plans, Motherwell Bridge Industries is seeking to recruit an Electrical Technician to join its technical team.

Duties and Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will be expected to:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, electromechanical and electronic parts of
industrial machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Adhere to health and safety procedures

Qualifications

Requirements and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
• Be qualified for the performance of electrical works according to EU and/or local regulations
• A valid electrical technician licence B would be considered an asset
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Able to work at heights and confined spaces
• A valid driving licence
