A challenging career posts has become available in the Healthcare ICT industry to support an internationally developed patient management system solution which is intended to be deployed in the public health services. This is a prestigious position for an important national project, in which selected candidates shall be working with healthcare professionals amongst others. Able to work on full time basis, however it will include flexibility of hours, so as to satisfy any shift on-call duties.

General duties:

The selected candidates will be involved in the project post implementation phase, delivering regular support to the end users either on site or remotely. Selected candidates will also have the responsibility to provide end users with on-site training in technical and healthcare processes and will be required to manage communication with the end users IT personnel.

Qualifications

A relevant tertiary qualification is desired, though consideration may be given to advanced IT science diploma level.

• Ideally candidates are to have a background knowledge of the process in the national health sector;

• Important to possess analytical skills together with planning skills;

• Good teamwork skills, having a positive attitude, self-management, resilience, willingness to learn and good communication abilities ;

• Important to have good trouble shooting skills and ‘problem solving’ initiatives together with organisational proactive behaviour;

• Customer service skills including the ability to communicate well with customers;

• To be fluent in spoken and written English (spoken Italian will be an asset).

Desired Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification - degree in IT, computer systems or computer sciences;

• Preferably to have experience in similar healthcare IT systems;

• Preferably a technical background and knowledge in DBA, Java programming.
