Job Description

Malta Football Association is currently looking for a part-time Receptionist to join their team and assist in the front desk operations in the dynamic environment if the indoor swimming pool.The prospective candidate will be representing the organisation as the first point of contact.

Responsibilities:

• All reception duties, including cash duties, sales and managing lane bookings. Will also be responsible for all pool equipment and locker keys while providing a courteous, professional, efficient & flexible service consistent with the standards of the MFA Swimming Pool

• Pool duties, overseeing the cleanliness of the facility and to help with the cleaning when necessary. The overall scope is to maintain a clean & safe working environment for the facility and all public areas

• Will be responsible for opening or closing the Pool Facility for the public on Saturday and Sunday

Working Hours:

We have 2 reception shifts, from 5.30-13.30 and from 13.30-21.30. The post requires that you work Saturday & Sunday, and sometimes during the week to cover for full-timers. On Saturday you will work from 12.00-19.00 and on Sunday from 6.00-14.00. If you are required to work during the week, it will be from 15.30-21.30.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Candidates must be proficient in multitasking and must possess a friendly attitude ensuring a
positive client experience

• Fluency in both Maltese and English are essential

• Sound knowledge of basic computer applications including Microsoft Office tools and internet.
ECDL Core certificate will be considered an asset

• Excellent communication and negotiating skills

• Minimum of 3 ‘O’Levels including Maths and English

• Sales experience

• We shall be looking out for candidates who work on their own initiative
