Warehouse Clerk

The role of the warehouse clerk is to receive, organize, monitor and maintain the company's stock. This includes checking that orders are complete, replenishing stores, updating stock records and overseeing the stores are maintained in good order.
Job Description:
• Assisting in the checking of incoming good
• Check and inputting of invoices and updating inventory system
• Liaise with procurement manager and suppliers on issues that may arise
• Generate re-order level reports on daily basis and liaise with outlets to prepare the replenishment reports and forward to stores for preparation
• Record stock transfer locations
• Guide packers on subject matter
• Monitor expiry dates
• Assists the procurement manager with purchases, stock transfer locations and stock control
• Ensure smooth running of the operation
• Carry out perpetual stock take system both at stores level and outlet
• Perform any other duties of an administrative nature, which may be assigned from time to time by management
Qualifications
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• A high level of attention to detail
• A good level of computer literacy, especially excel
• Strong data entry skills
• To be organised and have good multi-tasking and time management skills
• Knowledge of Shireburn stock management system (SIMs) will be considered an asset
