Approved Limited’s primary operating activity incorporates the investment of new sites that are developed into high-quality offices/hotels/residential buildings and the leasing of properties to third parties. Our company owns Dragonara Business Centre – a modern office block spread over 8,000 sqm located in the heart of St. Julian’s and several residential units mainly in Depiro Point in Sliema. Current ongoing properties being completed are: a 3,000 sqm block of offices in Testaferrata Street Ta’ Xbiex; a 55-room hotel in St. Julian’s; a 42-room hotel in The Strand; an office extension of 2,000 sqm to Dragonara Business Centre and a new 7,000 sqm site of offices in St. Julian’s. We are looking for an organised Facilities & Building Manager to manage properties. In order to deliver the company’s short and long-term objectives, the responsibilities of the selected candidate will include but will not be limited to:

- Handling correspondence with the tenants of the building;
- Acting as the point of contact to communicate with tenants;
- Ensuring all properties are kept to high standards;
- Operating with the allocated budget of each property;
- Ensuring that works are progressing in accordance to the health and safety regulations;
- Ensuring insurance policies are always updated and up to standard;
- Undertaking regular inspections and onsite building visits;
- Advertising available properties and scheduling viewings with potential clients;
- Dealing and resolving complaints, problems and requests from tenants;
- Dealing with the local council/police for permits;
- Working with the Directors to issue weekly property reports;
- Monitoring and scheduling appointments for the building maintenance equipment;
- Other duties consistent with the position as reasonably determined by the person to whom you provide assistance and perform other related duties as may be required from time to time.

Qualifications

- Be in possession of a valid driving license and a clean police conduct;
- Be able to communicate well in English, both written and verbal;
- Be computer literate and have a good knowledge of Microsoft applications;
- Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
