A multi award-winning restaurant group is looking for Chef de Partie to join its fine dining restaurant in Senglea. Famed for its unique dining concepts, the restaurant is renowned for its excellence in quality cuisine and kitchen brigade. The restaurant serves Modern Mediterranean fusion cuisine, has an extensive fine wine list and is located within a luxury hotel hosting spectacular views of Birgu City and the Grand Harbour.

We are looking for the perfect candidates who will be employed on a full time/part-time basis and responsible for creative, first class food to an esteemed clientele.

Qualifications

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in catering
• Good communication skills & an outgoing personality. Knowledge of the English language and one other language will be considered an asset.
• In possession of all necessary work permits to work in Malta
• Necessary training in Culinary Arts, experience, works quickly, physical stamina, creative flair, flexible schedule, strong communication, organisational skills and team mentality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
• Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef develop new dishes and menus
• Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas and during all stages of production and supply to ensure the HACCP procedures are followed.
• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
