We have a vacancy as a packer with our renowned Da Vinci Bakery Team. The position requires an energetic individual who is willing to be flexible in the role to assist not just in packing but assisting bakers. You must be able to work with a team and also individually, understand the importance of time management and safe food handling. The role involves lifting, standing in same position for periods of time and also move from one machine to another. Currently hours are from morning to mid-afternoon, Monday to Friday & no public holidays, although if required out-side these hours you must be available. Will be reporting directly to Head Baker & Head Packer.
The candidate must possess the following attributes & skills. Only those with permit to work in Malta can apply:
• Speak & write fluent English (understanding Maltese also will be an asset)
• Experience working with food (working in bakery packaging considered an asset)
• Able to follow instructions
• Understand food safety
• Willing to be trained on machine operation safety
• Time management skills
• Knowledge of the Maltese savoury & sweet products
• Well groomed & dressed
• Computer literate
Remuneration will be established by General Manager & Head Baker based on experience.
