HR Executive

A vacancy has arisen for a Human Resources Executive to work within the Human Resources Department. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the main tasks, amongst others, include:

•Implementing the company`s disciplinary procedure

•Handling employee welfare and relation issues, including communication with employees

•Liaising with union/s on any personnel issues

•Assisting in the running of the company`s performance management system

•Resourcing and recruitment of staff, including coordination and submission of applications for work permits as may be required

•Conducting entrance/exit interviews as applicable

•Organizing the preparation of job profiles

•Planning, organizing and monitoring training in liaison with the Training Coordinator:

?Preparing the training budget, in liaison with the HR Manager

?Conducting/organizing training needs analysis

?Developing training programmes including Induction Training programme

?Sourcing internal/external training providers

?Organizing and monitoring training sessions

?Processing payment of training providers including preparation of documents for training schemes

?Reporting on training and expenditure

•Leading any personnel assigned, including the planning and allocation of work within the team

Qualifications

Applicants for the post should ideally meet the following requirements:

•A recognized qualification related to HR or management would be considered an asset

•An Advanced level of education or higher

•At least 1 year relevant experience

•Good interpersonal and leadership skills

•A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Visio

•Good organizational skills

•Excellent command of written and spoken English and Maltese language

•Initiative and is able to work to tight deadlines
