Job Description & Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day administration of the accounts department.
Responsibilities include:
• Posting and raising of invoices through Sage Line 50.
• Providing feedback / suggestions to improve existing
processes and update procedures.
• Liaising with auditors and tax advisors.
• Ensuring the timely monitoring of debtors, credit control
and effective communication of reports to the Managing
Director as required.
• Administration of and preparing of the necessary
documentation to be submitted to CFR, VAT Department
and other tax authorities.
• Other accounting related issues/tasks.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must:
• Either, be in possession of O level certificate in accounts
AND over 5 years’ experience in an accounting position
OR
Must have a minimum of ‘A’ Level standard in accounts.
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
and Sage Line 50.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills in
both English and Maltese.
• Be proactive and able to work on his/her own initiative
and have an eye for detail.
• Be a mature person, able to work independently, with a
can-do attitude towards work.
