3D Generalist Artist

The 3D Artist is an all-rounder working on the creation of high-quality 3D models for video games and assists in leading freelance team members on graphical tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Modelling and texturing 3D assets including props, buildings, organic models (high poly sculpts and low poly game optimized models based on provided concepts)
• Asset integration into the game engine, setting up materials and shaders
• Participating in the constant improvement of asset production methods and techniques
• Taking part in creative processes in many fields, actively shaping the growing project together with the other team members.
• Supporting external artists, preparing adequate feedback to ensure a high-quality level of their work
Qualifications
Required skills:
• Experience in creating models for AA / AAA video games
• Track record of significant contributions to at least two shipped AAA titles.
• Strong hard surface and organic modelling skills
• Fluent English
• Proficient modelling skills in Maya
• Being familiar with modern video game pipelines for modelling and texturing
• Good Zbrush and Substance Painter skills
• Knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR)
• Ability to learn new technologies, programs and production pipelines
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills in English
Beneficial requirements:
• Traditional art experience, especially focused on anatomy, colours, composition and lighting
• Substance Designer
• Marmoset Tool bag: baking and rendering
• Rigging
• Level building / lighting
