Store Person

An opportunity has become available within our company for the position of a Store Person.
The role will consist of set hours Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday.
The candidate must possess the following attributes & skills
• coordinate with all department heads of any inventory requirement.
• understanding the importance of HACCP and food safety work practices.
• able to read and write and fill in documents.
• understand the importance of FIFO and able to follow.
• clear communication skills in English (understanding Maltese will be favourable).
• be in full control of stores and recognising product quality and shelf life.
• follow safe manual handling techniques.
• time management skills.
• able to obtain knowledge of all the products.
• well groomed & dressed.
• computer literate and knowledge of learning to use inventory and invoicing systems.
• must have a valid drivers licence and assist in deliveries when required.
• lead stock takes.
• possession of fork lift licence will be favourable.
• must follow all company's policies.
Remuneration will be agreed with the successful applicant & the General Manager according to experience.
