Key duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the food and beverage service
- Oversee the restaurant kitchen staff and operation
- Deal with suppliers
- Plan and develop menus
- Plan, control and monitor sales development activities
- Recruit new staff
- Determine, supervise and improve the work of all staff
- Manage customer service
- Manage use of seating areas, equipment and supplies
- Ensure health, safety, security and hygiene of the working environment
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Prior managerial/supervisory experience in food and beverage
- Have a good level of spoken and written English
- Have practical knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Have the Food Handling licence and a First Aid certificate
- Have a pleasant personality and excellent communication skills
- Ideally possess a hospitality management or similar qualification
- Have the right to work legally in Malta
