An opportunity has arisen for interested candidates to join Gozo Express Services Limited as Heavy Goods Transport Driver.

Reporting to the Removals & Heavy Goods Transport Team Leader, the selected candidate will be responsible for the transportation of bulky items for both business and individuals. This may include the pick up as well as the delivery between various locations in Malta and/or Gozo.

THE COMPANY
Gozo Express Services, a company based in Gozo, the island off Malta, was set up in 1999 and specialises in a range of activities including courier, freight, lifting and removals. Part of Hili Ventures Limited, the company has an office in Xaghra and its core business is courier services between the Maltese islands, focusing on daily runs with same-day delivery, freight and customs, and warehousing, whilst supporting local customers in diverse sectors.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be in possession of a clean and valid C driving Licence, be fluent in spoken and written Maltese and English, and be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

As the job requires cash-handling, the successful candidate will be expected to conduct basic mathematical calculations including taking measurements.
