Finance & Management Accountant

Optimise is growing and we are looking for a Finance & Management Accountant to continue expanding our Finance Team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
- Completion and submission of VAT and Tax returns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency or improve internal control.
- Be responsible for a portfolio of clients and your team working there.
- Providing continuous training, guidance and support towards your team members.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:
- The ideal candidate must be fully qualified although partly qualified accountants will be considered.
- Fluency in both Maltese & English is a must.
- Ideally 5 years business experience in a similar role.
- Strong initiative, problem solving, and interpersonal skills, plus an orientation toward continuous improvement are required.
