Job Description
JCL Holdings-The Food Factory is an established company in the food manufacturing for the local and export markets. As a direct result of our growth, we are currently looking for staff in the Butchery section with at least one year experience.

The main attributes and responsibilities of the applicant will include the following:

• The Butcher co-ordinates all activities in the assigned section and ensures that all standards are implemented and maintained.
• The Butcher is responsible for supervising the Butcher Assistants in the department in order to guarantee the highest standards.
• The applicants must have good knowledge of different cuts and grades of meat / fish, conservation and storing of goods.
• Must prepare the relevant mise-en-place for all the production unit’s requirements including producing sausages, marinades, beef curing, etc. according to company standards.
• Should safely handle knives, specific equipment and tools relevant to this job.
• Must be familiar with food legislation and regulations, thus maintaining hygiene standards to meet HACCP requirements.

Qualifications

Experience: Not less than 1 year hands on experience.
