Hotel Night Auditor

An opportunity has arisen for a Night Auditor to join a dynamic team at luxury Hotel Resort & Spa in Malta. As our client's new Night Auditor, you will be reporting directly to the Front Office Manager and supervised by the Night Manager. You will be expected to demonstrate a genuine ‘Yes I Can’ attitude backed with a solid understanding of guest satisfaction practices and quality standards. Fluency in English is a must and experience in a similar hotel environment will be considered as an asset. You must also have a good knowledge of "Opera" or similar Hotel Property Management System, as well as a solid understanding of MS Office programmes.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role
• Experience in hotel environment is an asset
• Computer literate and full understanding of MS Office
• Experience with Hotel Systems / Front Office systems a plus (Opera)
• Must be smart, friendly and determined with a "Yes I can" attitude
• Has excellent communication and organization skills
• Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Fluent English spoken and written, Maltese a plus
• Valid EU passport

Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Responsible for ensuring night audit procedures are applied
• Handling of cash, required to deal with and resolve financial discrepancies
• Edit all reports to ensure accuracy and full completion;
• Undertake a review of end-of-day takings against logged reports
• Handle and direct general internal and external calls
• Taking guests reservations and seeing to requests as necessary
• Assists the Night Manager and the rest of the night team
