Finance / Administration Assistant

We are recruiting a Finance / Administration Assistant for one of the leading companies in the Financial sector
1. Reconciliation of bank statements
2. Posting of transactions into the company system
3. Issue of payments
4. Reconciliation of investment holdings
5. Maintaining archives and general filing systems
6. Periodically compiling and updating company statistics for Management
7. To serve customers courteously and efficiently ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are met at all times
8. Any other appropriate duties as and when required by the Company
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must
• A Level/Certificate/Diploma in Accounting is an asset
• Two years’ experience in a Financial/Accounting Role is an asset
• Effective verbal written and listening communication skills
• Attention to detail with excellent time management skills
• Work under the supervision of line management, but will also be expected to work under their own initiative
• Continued maintenance of relationships with all staff and customers
• Availability and willingness to work overtime when required
