The aim of the process assistant is to support/manage staff and support team leaders and their teams, in the day to day upkeep of the designated department
• To support the team
• Assign job duties and communicate with internal and external suppliers
• Monitor attendance
• Monitor performance
• Replace team leaders when the need arises
• Fully understand the workflow and daily production goals
• Review and update SOP's as required
• Ensure fire extinguishers are organised and the whole area is safe
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area
• Coach associates to work safely at all times
• Participate in safety initiatives
• Refer all job injuries immediately to the team leader
Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills
• Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal)
• Leadership ability
