Accounts & Admin Clerk

In Design (Malta) Ltd.

We are looking for an energetic, organised and detail oriented individual to fill a new position of accounts and admininstration clerk on a Part-Time basis (regular hours). Working hours would be morning to early afternoon, Monday to Friday.

Applicants should be highly motivated, willing to learn and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.


Responsibilities of the job will include:

- General clerical duties
- Updating of accounting records,
- Maintaining the creditors ledger, including preparation of payments for foreign and local suppliers.
- Maintaining the debtor ledger and liaising with clients
- Performing various reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting statutory documents
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports as required
- Performing any other duties of an administrative/clerical nature as may be necessary.

Qualifications

Essential requirements for the job are:
- A good standard of Maths (O-level or above)
- Fluency in Maltese and English
- Proficiency with the use of computers, word and excel. Training will be provided for specific accounting software used.

Previous experience in accounts related jobs will be considered and asset (but is not essential). On the job training will be provided.
