FINANCE ASSISTANT
Malta Public Transport
MISSION
• To assist in overall, day-to-day operations within the Finance Department
• To be able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to:
• Revenue reconciliation
• Posting of invoices
• Liaise with suppliers
• Update receivables and payables ledgers as necessary
• Bank reconciliations
• Bank payments preparation
• Assist with end of month routines
• Finance administration, including filing
• Complete ad hoc projects and other financial activities as assigned
RELATION WITH INTERNAL/ EXTERNAL POSITIONS
• Hierarchically subordinate to the Financial Controller and the Finance department
• Ability to integrate and work well in a team environment
SKILLS
Meticulous and goal oriented
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of standard Accounting and Microsoft Office package.
Minimum experience:
Not required but will be accounted for.
