MACHINE OPERATOR

MARSA REBAR LTD

• Performing multiple setups and operating a variety of CNC machines under minimal
supervision;

• Correctly setting up and optimising machines as per plans and instructions;

• Diligently handling troubleshooting and analysing problems associated with both production
and development projects;

• Ability to troubleshoot;

• Assisting other machine operators in setups and running activities thoroughly;

• Performing daily routine maintenance, cleaning duties; and

• Suggesting recommendations to Supervisory staff concerning process improvements,
program edits and corrections needed to reduce set up times as well as improve overall cycle
times.

Qualifications

• Have a mechanical aptitude;

• Possess basic blueprint knowledge;

• Be confident in the use of the English Language; basic knowledge in reading and writing is a
must;

• Be computer literate;

• Be able to stand for long periods of time and occasionally move some loads;

• Have the willingness to work safely and wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
by ‘H&S’ regulations;

• Commit to safety & organisational goals;

• Be in possession of recent and proven experience as a machine operator.
