Manufacturing Technician

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated manufacturing technician to provide technical service in terms of processing, automation and production in line with the Company business strategy. Your goal is to contribute to the efficiency of the overall plant by taking an active part in the preventive and breakdown maintenance of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

•Efficient running of plant, machinery and equipment
•Preventive maintenance
•Breakdown maintenance
•Continuous improvement
•Electrical and mechanical overhauls, alterations, and installations
•Assist in documentation and recording of any installations and alterations effected
•Ensuring safe working environment and adherence to OHSA practices

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

•Technical Diploma
•Wireman licence A & B (preferred)
•minimum of 2 years experience within a similar industry
•Technical insight in a complex manufacturing environment
•Problem solving skills
•Good report writing skills
•Basic knowledge in electronics
