MJM Production Limited is looking for a reliable and hardworking Bakery Assistant to join our bakery team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist bakers with the preparation and production of a variety of bakery products.
Measure, weigh, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
Assist with shaping, decorating, baking, and finishing bakery products.
Prepare products for packing, storage, and distribution.
Operate basic bakery equipment and machinery safely, following company procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bakery and production areas.
Clean and sanitise work surfaces, utensils, trays, and equipment.
Ensure ingredients and materials are properly stored and handled.
Check products for quality, appearance, and freshness.
Follow food safety, HACCP, and health and safety procedures at all times.
Assist with stock rotation and monitoring of ingredients and packaging materials.
Support the bakery team with general production duties as required.
Perform other duties assigned by the Bakery Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is considered an advantage.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production schedules.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, weekends, or public holidays when required.
