Shop Assistant & Deli Counter Attendant

We are looking for an energetic, reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant & Deli Counter Attendant at our grocery store in Qawra.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain shop cleanliness, upkeep and organisation
* Restock shelves and assist with merchandising
* Assist customers with their needs and provide excellent service
* Serve customers at the deli counter
* Support cleaning duties
* Assist with deliveries when required
* Lift and handle heavy objects as part of stock handling
* Receive and check incoming stock
* Transfer stock between the store and shop as required

Qualifications

* Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
* Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems
* Fluent in Maltese and English
* Must hold a valid driving licence
* Willing and available to work Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, on a shift basis or as required
* Attention to detail with a clean, organised and responsible approach to work
* Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
* Physically able to carry out stock-handling duties
