Full Time Position. 40 hours.

Sundays and One Day in the week off.

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and confident Shop Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our ladies fashion shop and to supervise staff.

The ideal person will have a genuine love of fashion, a fashionable and well-presented appearance, and enjoy working with customers.

Main Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the shop.

Open and close the shop as required.
Supervise and support staff on a daily basis.

Operate the POS system and process all cash and card transactions accurately.

Learn and understand all shop policies and procedures and be able to explain and communicate them clearly to customers.

Provide friendly, polite and helpful customer service at all times.

Handle customer queries and deal with any issues professionally.

Ensure the shop is kept clean, tidy, well organised and attractively arranged throughout the day.

Ensure new stock is unpacked, priced and placed on the shop floor promptly.

Make sure stock is regularly replenished and that the shop is always well presented.

Assist customers with their purchases and provide advice on fashion and products.

Ensure staff carry out their duties correctly and maintain good standards of customer service.

Help maintain a positive and professional working environment.

Follow company procedures relating to cash handling, stock and the general running of the shop.

Confident communicating with customers and staff.

Passionate about fashion and interested in current trends

Organised and able to take responsibility

Comfortable working independently and making day-to-day decisions

Training on our POS system will be given but the successful candidate must become confident using the POS system and handling cash and card payments.

Able to lead and communicate effectively with other members of staff.

Flexible and willing to help wherever required.

Experience in retail or a supervisory role would be an advantage.

Must speak fluent English.
