Maintenance Personnel (Factory Operations)

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our factory operations team at (MJM or Fresh To Go). The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining industrial catering equipment and supporting factory operations through preventive maintenance, inspections, and technical support involving refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
The role is currently based on a day shift schedule, with the possibility of future shift changes according to operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on factory and catering equipment
• Performing daily inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation
• Diagnosing and repairing basic refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical faults
• Monitoring and recording temperatures, pressures, and other operational parameters
• Scheduling maintenance works and coordinating planned interventions
• Following up and supervising contractor-based maintenance interventions
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and company protocols
• Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, reports, and service records
• Responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
• Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department
• Identifying potential risks or recurring technical issues and reporting them accordingly
• Ensuring tools, spare parts, and maintenance areas are kept organized and in good condition

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with catering or industrial equipment is considered an asset
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and maintenance procedures
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Awareness and understanding of workplace health and safety standards
• Flexibility to adapt to future shift changes if required
