Transport Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and assign patient transport requests to the appropriate vehicle.
Schedule and monitor patient transportation to ensure timely service.
Use a tablet-based transport management application to allocate and track transport jobs.
Communicate effectively with drivers, hospital staff, and other team members.
Update transport records and maintain accurate documentation.
Maintain and update transport-related records using Microsoft Excel.
Respond promptly to changes in transport schedules and priorities.
Ensure all transport operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
Assist in resolving any transport-related issues or delays.

Qualifications

Requirements
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Basic computer skills and confidence using tablets and mobile applications.
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
Good command of both English and Maltese.
Previous experience in transport coordination, logistics, healthcare, or a similar role will be considered an asset.
Good knowledge of Malta's road network, localities, and geographical areas is essential.
