CHEESE COUNTER ASSISTANT (SUPERMARKET)

We are currently looking for a Cheese Counter Assistant to join our deli team across various outlets in Malta.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food and interacting with customers in a busy retail environment.

No previous experience is required - training will be provided.
We welcome applicants of all experience levels who are motivated to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities include:

Serving customers at the cheese and delicatessen counter

Slicing, weighing, and packaging cheese and deli products

Preparing pre-packed items and maintaining product displays

Ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards are maintained

Assisting with stock rotation and deliveries

Providing friendly and professional customer service

Qualifications

Requirements:

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
