Laundry Room Attendant

This role manages the high-volume laundering needs for our multiple properties, ensuring that every piece of linen meets our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Sorting & Preparation: Sort incoming soiled linens and towels by fabric type, colour, and soil level.

- Machine Operation: Load and operate industrial washers and dryers according to specific weight limits and chemical settings.

- Quality Control: Inspect linens for tears, stains, or wear. Set aside damaged items for repair or replacement.

- Finishing Touches: Professionally fold, press, and stack linens. Operate industrial ironers with precision.

- Inventory Management: Track outgoing "clean" batches to ensure each hotel in the chain receives their correct daily allocation.

- Maintenance & Safety: Clean lint filters daily and maintain a tidy, hazard-free workspace. Follow all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

- Previous experience in the laundry or hospitality environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
