ASSISTANT FLEET MANAGER/CAR WASH ATTENDENT

ASSISTANT FLEET MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in managing staff, work scheduling, and training, and address labor relations issues.
Scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs.
Coordinating with mechanics and service providers.
Maintaining records of maintenance and repairs.
Assisting with the acquisition of new vehicles.
Monitoring vehicle usage and routing and managing fuel programs and optimizing fuel efficiency.
Tracking fleet performance metrics and generating reports while ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Managing accident reports and insurance claims.
Assisting with driver management, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
May act as a point of contact for driver and mechanic issues.

CAR WAS ATTENDENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-soaking, soaping, rinsing, drying, and waxing vehicles.
Vacuuming carpets and upholstery, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows and mirrors, and removing trash.
Operating car wash equipment, monitoring its performance, and performing basic maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
Report any vehicle damage or maintenance needs.
Greeting drivers, explaining car wash options, providing advice on services, and handling inquiries.
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the car wash area, restocking supplies, emptying trash cans, and reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Applying specialized products like waxes, polishes, and protectants to enhance the appearance and protection of the vehicle's exterior and interior.
Understanding how to use various cleaning agents, tools, and techniques to effectively clean different surfaces and materials.
Ensuring a safe environment for themselves, their colleagues, and drivers by following safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

ASSISTANT FLEET MANAGER QUALIFICATION /EXPERIENCE:
Good leadership skills to motivate, guide and inspire a team of Drivers
Solid writing skills to produce clear and effective documentation and reports
Proficiency in relevant software programs, including databases and spreadsheets
Good analytical skills to effectively analyse fleet data and draw accurate conclusions
Excellent organisational skills to cope with a fast-changing environment and multiple concurrent tasks
Solid negotiation skills to successfully handle purchases and contracts
Knowledge of relevant environmental and safety laws and regulations
Basic financial literacy to understand financial sheets and manage a fleet budge


Qualifications/Experience For Car was Attendant;
Previous experience of the similar positions or related is preferable but not mandatory.
