Shop Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Shop Manager to join our team. If you have a passion for fresh produce and enjoy providing exceptional service, we’d love to have you on board. Candidates with relevant experience will receive competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:

* Inventory and stock control. Order fresh produce, dry goods, and supplies from approved vendors.
* Recruit, train, and oversee shop assistants or cashiers. Delegate daily tasks and monitor performance
* Assist customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, answering questions and guiding them to the best produce choices.
* Operate cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a tidy checkout area.
* Ensure our shelves are well-stocked by regularly restocking fresh produce.
* Perform quality control checks to remove damaged or spoiled items and maintain the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

* Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
* Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
* Enthusiasm for fresh produce and a willingness to learn about various fruits and vegetables.
