Housekeeper

Experienced and trained housekeeper able to work without supervision. Must be prepared to work on a live-in basis when employers are abroad or when guests are residing in the property, for up to 15 weeks annually. High quality references testifying to experience and trustworthiness are a must. Duties would include cleaning the house and garden patios; laying of beds; laundry and ironing; covering, uncovering, wiping garden furniture; shopping; and assisting in evening or weekend entertaining, including setting of table and serving guests. The housekeeper may also be required to help care for elderly relative on alternate Sundays, and prior experience and relevant qualifications for this task would be of advantage.

Educated to secondary school level. Must be able to demonstrate training and experience for the post being advertised. Fluency in English and a high standard of cleanliness and of personal hygiene are a must. Preference would be given to candidates who can also demonstrate experience and training in caring for the elderly.
