1. Manages a specific section of the kitchen such as grill, sauce, or pastry.
2. Prepares and cooks food items according to established recipes and standards.
3. Supervises and supports junior kitchen staff in their assigned tasks.
4. Maintains high standards of hygiene and safety in their work area.
5. Monitors inventory and assists with stock control and ordering.
6. Ensures food quality and presentation meet the restaurant’s expectations.
7. Coordinates with other sections to ensure timely service delivery
8. Trains and mentors commis chefs to improve kitchen performance.
9. Follows instructions from Executive head chefs and adapts to menu changes.
10. Reports equipment issues and ensures tools are used correctly.
Qualifications
MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SAME ROLE
